Are resentments building up within you to the point that you are stressed out to the max?  At work and at home, are you being taking advantage of because you can’t say “no”?  You do not have to be a doormat for the rest of your life.  It’s time for you to set limits, state your expectations and ask for what you need.  It’s time to assert yourself!  If you want to control overburdening demands and overbearing people, you must assert yourself with confidence and effective communication techniques. When you speak up for yourself and express your honest thoughts, feelings and needs in direct, appropriate ways, you can have win-win results and a whole lot of respect for yourself and from others. Nancy will show you how to ask for and get what you want

Testimonials:

“On behalf of Tri-State Area School Study Council I want to thank you for presenting at our 8th Annual Jean Winsand International Institute on April 15, 2010.  Your presentation brought vitality, humor, and practical wisdom to a room full of women whose work impacts the lives of the children of Pennsylvania.  The audience really enjoyed it.  Just as Jean Winsand blazed a trail for many of us, so, too, have you served as a role model for other inspiring female leaders.”, Dr. Diane Kirk, Clinical Visiting Assistant Professor, University of Pittsburgh.

“We appreciate you taking the time to recognize our efforts in kicking off the year with optimism and positiveness.  You certainly contributed as our keynote motivational speaker in getting the staff to think about some things relative to their own lives and careers. You presented all of this with grace but with directness too.  Your message to the pupil services was well balanced with reflective questions and then you I had them share their responses with the group.  Thank you for coming and I have heard many remarkable comments about your book that I had I distributed to the pupil services staff.”, Dr. Nanci Sullivan, Director of Pupil Services, South Fayette School District.

"Nancy is a wonderful and high energy speaker. I had the opportunity to see her speak at our Non Profit Day in Erie, Pa. on Work, Life, Balance!!", Heidi Parr Kerner, M.A., The Coach for Speakers.

“Nancy Stampahar has always provided a stellar presentation, no matter what the topic!  Her training sessions are engaging and very interactive.  The attendees consistently provide outstanding evaluations of Nancy’s ability and presentations.  Nancy works with us to provide exactly the type of material and training we need to be successful.  We recommend her without hesitation!”, Joyce Valent, M.A. ED., I.T., Training Manager, Duquesne University.

“Your keynote address, “It’s Never Too Late to Get Happy!” set the stage for the entire conference!  I truly appreciate how you tailored your presentation to the needs of the group – you took a topic that is often considered “soft” but had each of asking ourselves some “hard” questions. The sponsored gift or your autographed copies of “Peace, Love and Lemonade” allowed the audience to take your message home with them!”, Mary O’Connor, Ph.D., RN, Chair, SWPONL Education Commission.

“It was Nancy who captured the attention of the 2008 Craig Academy graduating class when she delivered its commencement address.  With a bright smile, excitement, humor and seriousness of encouragement, she laid out three goals to carry with them always.  Packaging the goals as a Golden Nugget, Nancy was able to convey these three points through validation of their current adversities, forecasting future possibilities to come, and the story of her own childhood experiences.  One could tell that Nancy was relating to each young adult and family in front of her.”, Denise Sedlacek, M.ED, Program Director, Craig Academy of the Watson Institute.
