Greg Izay is a wealth of experience, heart and humor with a passion for life, people, and education. With more than 30 years of experience working with people of all ages and within many environments, Greg offers a variety of speaking opportunities for a wide range of educational settings, reaching educators, students and parents. Greg draws his material from all areas of his life experience. Greg has been involved in education for more than ten years, as both a teacher and an administrator. Greg currently teaches graduate courses in education at the university level and supervises student teachers in the field. Greg also sets an example for being physically active, with 32 years of running experience that includes numerous marathons. He has logged many miles on his mountain bike, is a Nationally Certified Ski and Snowboard Instructor, has taught martial arts (2nd Degree Black Belt), and is an avid fisherman. Greg continues to learn how to be a better father and husband.
Greg has a book awaiting publication entitled, “I Ate All My Vegetables and Still Grew Up Short!” Greg is an actor, writer and director and drama coach, both on screen and on the stage. Greg is currently starring as “Gardener Gus” in the exciting new children’s show, Nanna’s Cottage, being aired on children’s networks throughout the country (DVDs available on request).
